Please note that as a PTRC, we provide access to patent and trademark information, and assistance on how to effectively use the search tools. However, we are not permitted to conduct the actual search; offer advice or opinions on the quality or completeness of a patron's search; choose keywords or classifications to search; file applications or suggest appropriate application forms; or determine if a patent or trademark will be approved by the USPTO, as this could be considered unauthorized practice of law. If you are looking for help with specific legal questions including applications, patentability and trademark validity rather than simply help with the use of the search tools, you should contact a registered patent attorney or agent and a trademark attorney.
We will make every effort to protect the confidentiality and privacy of researchers.
